SAN DIEGO, CA – Trinity Theatre is proud to continue its 2019 season (Season VII) with the Reduced Shakespeare Company’s condensed: THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED). It is one of the world’s most frequently produced plays and has been translated into several dozen languages. Featured are all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays, meant to be performed in 97 minutes, by three actors. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it’s full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. The show will play Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, and Sunday matinees at 2pm, through June 23, 2019. SEAN BOYD – Sean is the co-founder of Trinity Theatre, and has served as Artistic Director since its inception in 2012. He is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), the labor union of professional directors. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University. Performance Credits: Red, Drinking Habits, The Importance of Being Earnest (Trinity Theatre); Dust, Sons of the Prophet, A Christmas Carol (touring) (Cygnet Theatre); On The Eve (SDSU / La Jolla Playhouse Collaboration); Knuffle Bunny, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Pinkalicious, Sleeping Beauty (North Coast Rep’s PTF). Directing Credits include: Fuddy Meers, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Bugsy Malone Jr., Maple and Vine, Becoming Dr. Ruth, Duck Hunter Shoots Angel, Twelve Angry Men, Lovers (Trinity); Mary Poppins, Jr. (Kroc Junior Theatre); Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (SD Junior Theatre); Cyber-O (Scripps Ranch Theatre). CONNOR BOYD Connor is thrilled to be returning to Trinity Theatre Company in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. Recent credits include: Judas in “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Trinity Theatre), Tom in “Murder Ballad” (10th Ave Theatre), Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in “Next to Normal”, Seymour in “Little Shop of Horrors” (Coronado Playhouse), Apostle in “Jesus Superstar Christ Superstar”, and Gangster #2 in “The Drowsy Chaperone” (SDSU Don Powell Theatre). He would like to thank his family for their constant support and the cast and crew for putting together this tremendous show.

WILLIAM CORKERY – William is a recent graduate from SJSU with a BA in Theater Arts. He is a veteran of Voiceover as well as stage and screen acting. He recently starred in the soon-to-be released short The Sucker: How to Embrace Type-O and Denounce Ginger Ale. He is ecstatic to be coming back to the SD stage with Trinity Theater and Complete Works. His performance credits include: Officer Barrel in Urinetown, Bottom in A Midsummer Nights Dream, El Maestro in Corridos: The Remix (SJSU), Scuttle in The Little Mermaid (CMTSJ), Baby John in West Side Story, Theo in American Idiot (City Lights Theater Company), Otto in Spring Awakening (Cygnet), and Daniel in Complete Works (Trinity Theater Company).


MARC AKIYAMA (Sound Designer) – Marc is a composer for film and theatre and a professional percussionist and keyboardist. An alumnus of NYU’s Percussion Performance Program, Marc performs in many of San Diego’s Professional Theatre Orchestras and is pleased to design for Trinity Theatre Company once again. Recent shows include Fuddy Meers (Sound Design), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Drums), Legally Blonde (Piano & Assistant Music Director), The Secret Garden (Piano/Percussion & Assistant Music Director), and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story(Drummer/Actor). Marc also co-hosts The Song to Screen Podcast which explores the music techniques of film and theatre. For more information on his film scores and current projects visit

CELESTE ARGUELLO (Costume Designer) – Celeste is a freelance artist who specializes in the creation and curation of costumes. Though they’ve worked in the past on individual projects, this is their first time taking such a large role on a full production. They appreciate the opportunity and the community amongst these actors and crew, and look forward to seeing their future work.

ERIC WARD (Lighting Designer) – Eric’s family has always had an affinity for the arts. His Mom taught music and drama and his Dad was an actor at heart (and in college). He has been doing technical theater since high school and found his niche when he got to CSUF and graduated with a BA in Lighting Design. Career highlights include Addams Family, Stop Kiss, Revolt She Said, Revolt Again, Blurred at the Edges, The Complete History of America Abridged, and helping out as a stagehand on La Jolla Playhouse’s POP Tour (Light Years Away). He is thrilled to be working with Trinity Theater Company for this hilarious show!

KATHY PARKS (Prop Master) – Kathy is thrilled to be a small part of this fun and interesting production. She has worked backstage also at Coronado Playhouse, Pickwick Players and OB Playhouse.  Thank you Sean Boyd and Sharonfaith Horton for this opportunity, Trinity Theatre Company rocks! 

LIANA SC (Intern) – Liana is attending NYU Tisch, pursuing a BFA in Dramatic Writing. She is co-founder and co-manager of Scripps Onstage, a youth theatre group that has been performing in San Diego since 2013. She has co-written, produced, and directed original jukebox musicals including Remember?, SoundTrack, and Life After Death. Liana’s work has also been performed in several venues at Tisch, including The Blind at Tisch’s 24-Hour Play Festival, Breaking Hearts Since 1983 at Broke People’s Main Stage Festival (co-written with Sangita Nuli), and Love Sucks: The Musical (self-produced, co-written with Sangita Nuli and Natalie Lim)
