Trinity Theatre Company (TTC) renders productions of great societal value in hopes of unifying friends, family, and community. The name “Trinity” (along with our logo) refers to the three groups we aim to bring together through our programming: friends, family, and community.

Mission Statement
Trinity Theatre Company (TTC) renders productions of great societal value in hopes of unifying friends, family, and community. TTC believes all individuals wishing to participate in the performing arts should have a venue in which they inspire and are inspired. Our shows merge the talents of seasoned performers as well as spirited newcomers, jointly engaged in both performance and technical aspects of theatre.
Trinity One Theatre Troupe (Trinity Theatre Company or TTC) has been in operation since 2012, when two San Diego High School seniors had a vision to provide a space for all people, regardless of background or experience, to enjoy and learn the beauty of theatre arts. In 2013, Trinity expanded to offer youth classes and productions through local schools.
Since that time, Trinity has contracted with multiple schools across San Diego County to provide a theatre education program that incorporates California Common Core and National Arts Standards into their unique theatre curriculum. Trinity has also partnered with other community organizations including Kids 4 Community, Feeding San Diego, Kitabu Reading Club, and the San Diego Public Libraries to bring the joy of theatre to all who are interested.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, TTC shifted to a virtual platform to provide arts education camps benefitting over 300 students. In 2021, Trinity returned to in person programming mixed with the online platform and was able to reach even more students through our camps, classes and school partnerships.
Trinity Theatre was awarded grants through the San Diego Foundation & San Diego Unified Level Up program to also provide our arts education camps at no cost to students in underserved and lower socioeconomic areas.
In summer 2023, Trinity moved into our first permanent space in the Mission Valley Mall. What was formally a Payless Shoe store was transformed into a performance and rehearsal space, which we now use for much of our programming including productions, classes, camps, and more. Read more about our big move here.
Now, Trinity continues to provide high quality arts education and Grown-Up Stage (G.U.S.) programming. We participate in multiple school partnerships in the South Bay, San Diego Unified, and Escondido school districts. We also run our own youth productions, classes, and camps both in Mission Valley and North County. Our G.U.S. programming consists of 3-4 fully staged productions per year, plus readings, workshops, and show-related special events.
