About Trinity Theatre Company
Trinity Theatre Company (TTC) produces impactful performances that foster unity among friends, family, and community. We believe that everyone wishing to engage in the performing arts should have a venue where they can inspire others and be inspired in return. Our shows combine the talents of seasoned performers with spirited newcomers, all actively participating in both the performance and technical aspects of theatre.

The name “Trinity,” along with our logo, symbolizes our goal to connect three vital groups through our programming: friends, family, and community.

Current Programming
Trinity continues to provide high-quality arts education and Grown-Up Stage (G.U.S.) programming. We participate in multiple school partnerships within the South Bay, San Diego Unified, and Escondido school districts. Additionally, we run our own youth productions, classes, and camps in both Mission Valley and North County. Our G.U.S. programming includes 3-4 fully staged productions per year, as well as readings, workshops, and special events related to our shows
Mission Statement
Trinity Theatre Company (TTC) renders productions of great societal value in hopes of unifying friends, family, and community. TTC believes all individuals wishing to participate in the performing arts should have a venue in which they inspire and are inspired. Our shows merge the talents of seasoned performers as well as spirited newcomers, jointly engaged in both performance and technical aspects of theatre.
Trinity One Theatre Troupe (TTC) has been operating since 2012. It started with the vision of two San Diego high school seniors who wanted to create a space for everyone—regardless of background or experience—to enjoy and learn about the beauty of theatre arts. By 2013, Trinity expanded its offerings to include youth classes and productions in local schools.
Since then, we have partnered with multiple schools across San Diego County. Our theatre education program incorporates California Common Core and National Arts Standards into a unique theatre curriculum. We have also collaborated with community organizations such as Kids 4 Community, Feeding San Diego, Kitabu Reading Club, and the San Diego Public Libraries to share the joy of theatre with those interested.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, TTC shifted to a virtual platform, providing arts education camps that benefitted over 300 students. In 2021, we returned to in-person programming, blending it with online platforms to reach even more students through camps, classes, and school partnerships.
Trinity Theatre received grants from the San Diego Foundation and the San Diego Unified Level Up program, allowing us to offer our arts education camps at no cost to students in underserved and lower socioeconomic areas.
Our New Home
In summer 2023, Trinity moved into our first permanent space at the Mission Valley Mall. What was once a Payless Shoe store has been transformed into a vibrant performance and rehearsal space. We now use this venue for our programming, including productions, classes, camps, and more. Read more about our big move here.
