SAN DIEGO, CA – Trinity Theatre proudly concluded its 2019 season (Season VII) with Tom Cole’s play: ABOUT TIME. Set in the kitchen of an elderly couple’s condominium, the story unfolds over the course of a single day, moving from breakfast to late-night snacks. As they discuss everything from food and sex to children and aging, the couple confronts the realities of their slowing bodies and the distance from their children. Through lively and sharp dialogue, they explore mortality and what it means to share a life together.
Directed by Sharonfaith Horton, the production featured local married actors Jonathan and Kathryn Gold. The design team included Marc Akiyama (Sound Design), Kathy Parks (Props), and Joanne Williams (Lights). Kellen Gold served as the Stage Manager, with photography by Nancy Lewis. About Time was presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

ABOUT TIME premiered on Friday, September 13, 2019, with Opening Night on Saturday, September 14 at 7 PM. The show ran Fridays and Saturdays at 7 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2 PM, concluding on September 22, 2019. Trinity Theatre Company is located at 930 Tenth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.
